The Book of the Revelation

CHAPTER 14

Revelation 14:1 And I looked, and, lo, a Lamb stood on the mount Sion, and with him an hundred forty and four thousand, having his Father's name written in their foreheads.
These are the same people that were sealed in Revelation Chapter 7. There is no doubt about that, they are the 144,000 that were sealed and now have been rapture and are now in the throne room of God. This Mount Sion is in heaven.
Hebrews 12:22 But ye are come unto mount Sion, and unto the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to an innumerable company of angels,

Revelation 14:2 And I heard a voice from heaven, as the voice of many waters, and as the voice of a great thunder: and I heard the voice of harpers harping with their harps:

Revelation 14:3 And they sung as it were a new song before the throne, and before the four beasts, and the elders: and no man could learn that song but the hundred and forty and four thousand, which were redeemed from the earth.
Revelation 14:4 These are they which were not defiled with women; for they are virgins. These are they which follow the Lamb whithersoever he goeth. These were redeemed from among men, being the firstfruits unto God and to the Lamb.

Revelation 14:5 And in their mouth was found no guile: for they are without fault before the throne of God.
The 144,000 learned a new song that was sung before the four beast and the 24 elders that were around the throne. We also see that there are musical instruments in heaven that are used to praise God. There are other new songs that are sung by the ones that are part of the first fruits of God. These are the little flock that keep the commandments of God. Revelation 15:3, the song of Moses and the song of the Lamb. James 1:18 Of his own will begat he us with the word of truth, that we should be a kind of firstfruits of his creatures.
Deuteronomy 32:44 And Moses came and spake all the words of this song in the ears of the people, he, and Hoshea the son of Nun.
These are the 144,000 men from the 12 tribes of Israel. They are virgin men that have not been defiled with women. This could also mean that they were not defiled with worship of Baal. Revelation 2:20 Notwithstanding I have a few things against thee, because thou sufferest that woman Jezebel, which calleth herself a prophetess, to teach and to seduce my servants to commit fornication, and to eat things sacrificed unto idols. They come out of great tribulation and have endured to the end of the first three and half years. They are the first fruits of God the Father and God the Son.

Revelation 14:6 And I saw another angel fly in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach unto them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people,
Revelation 14:7 Saying with a loud voice, Fear God, and give glory to him; for the hour of his judgment is come: and worship him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters.
This angel preaches the everlasting gospel, which is the judgment of God has come upon the people that dwell on the earth during the tribulation period. They are to fear God and give Him the glory for the time of that judgment was at hand.
This verse shows that there is more than one gospel. John the Baptist, Jesus and the twelve apostles all preached the Gospel of the Kingdom (repent the Kingdom is at hand). The Apostle Paul was given the gospel of the Grace of God. This gospel that Paul preached was a mystery that was kept secret since the world began.
Romans 16:25 Now to him that is of power to stablish you according to my gospel, and the preaching of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery, which was kept secret since the world began,

1 Corinthians 15:3 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;
1 Corinthians 15:4 And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:
Paul tells the Body of Christ (the church) that if anyone preaches another gospel during this age, they are accursed.
Galatians 1:8 But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.
Galatians 1:12 For I neither received it of man, neither was I taught it, but by the revelation of Jesus Christ.

We can see that this angel is not accursed, so the gospel that Paul preached during the age of grace was no longer in effect.

Revelation 14:8 And there followed another angel, saying, Babylon is fallen, is fallen, that great city, because she made all nations drink of the wine of the wrath of her fornication.
We see that Babylon is fallen and we also read in Revelation 17 that Babylon is fallen. This proves that the accounts in the Book of Revelation are not consecutive history, but are simultaneous accounts of the same event. Chapter 4 to Chapter 19 contains four accounts of the same events: (1) Seal Judgments (2) Triumph Judgments (3) Vial Judgments. (4) The activities of the Beast. The first coming of the Lord Jesus also has four accounts of the same events in Matthew, Mark, Luke and John.

Revelation 14:9 And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand,
Revelation 14:10 The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb:
Revelation:14:11: And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name.
All that take the mark of the beast in the tribulation period will go to hell and later cast into the lake of fire. During the kingdom, hell is opened up and people that sin will be cast into hell alive. Mark 9:43 And if thy hand offend thee, cut it off: it is better for thee to enter into life maimed, than having two hands to go into hell, into the fire that never shall be quenched: People must endure to the end of the tribulation period without taking the mark of the beast. They can enter into the kingdom with one eye or one arm. Remember the Nation of Israel is taken care of by God in the wildness the last three and half years of the tribulation.
Matthew 24:13 But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.
Revelation 12:6 And the woman fled into the wilderness, where she hath a place prepared of God, that they should feed her there a thousand two hundred and threescore days.

Revelation 14:12 Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.
When God deals with the Nation of Israel in the tribulation period, the law of Moses will be established again. Their gospel is repent the kingdom of heaven is at hand and they must believe that Jesus is the Messiah and coming again. They are not spiritually  circumcised, the Holy Spirit does not seal them, and they must keep the commandments to prove their faith.

Revelation 14:13 And I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Write, Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord from henceforth: Yea, saith the Spirit, that they may rest from their labours; and their works do follow them.
People in the tribulation period that die without the mark of the beast have their works follow them and these works are judged at the White Throne Judgment. Works that are done in the age of grace will meet the saved at the Judgment Seat of Christ

Revelation 14:14 And I looked, and behold a white cloud, and upon the cloud one sat like unto the Son of man, having on his head a golden crown, and in his hand a sharp sickle.
This is the Lord Jesus Christ. The term “Son of man” is used when the Lord Jesus Christ is going to take dominion over the earth. When He came the first time, the Nation of Israel rejected Him and had Him killed. Matthew 8:20 And Jesus saith unto him, The foxes have holes, and the birds of the air have nests; but the Son of man hath not where to lay his head.

Revelation 14:15 And another angel came out of the temple, crying with a loud voice to him that sat on the cloud, Thrust in thy sickle, and reap: for the time is come for thee to reap; for the harvest of the earth is ripe.
This is reaping of the harvest of the earth that Jesus talked about in a parable. Mark 4:28 For the earth bringeth forth fruit of herself; first the blade, then the ear, after that the full corn in the ear. Mark 4:29 But when the fruit is brought forth, immediately he putteth in the sickle, because the harvest is come.

Revelation 14:16 And he that sat on the cloud thrust in his sickle on the earth; and the earth was reaped.
When the Lord comes at the second coming, the earth will be reaped.
Matthew 13:39 The enemy that sowed them is the devil; the harvest is the end of the world; and the reapers are the angels.

Revelation 14:17 And another angel came out of the temple which is in heaven, he also having a sharp sickle.
Revelation 14:18 And another angel came out from the altar, which had power over fire; and cried with a loud cry to him that had the sharp sickle, saying, Thrust in thy sharp sickle, and gather the clusters of the vine of the earth; for her grapes are fully ripe.
Here the harvest of the earth is over and is gathered into the barn.
Matthew 13:41 The Son of man shall send forth his angels, and they shall gather out of his kingdom all things that offend, and them which do iniquity;
Matthew 13:42 And shall cast them into a furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth.

Revelation 14:19 And the angel thrust in his sickle into the earth, and gathered the vine of the earth, and cast it into the great winepress of the wrath of God.
Revelation 14:20 And the winepress was trodden without the city, and blood came out of the winepress, even unto the horse bridles, by the space of a thousand and six hundred furlongs.
The vine of the earth are the ones that have rejected the Lord Jesus Christ and have taken the mark of the beast. He gathered them together in a place called Armageddon.

Revelation 16:16 And he gathered them together into a place called in the Hebrew tongue Armageddon.
Revelation 19:15 And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God.
This happens outside Jerusalem and is the second coming of the Lord Jesus Christ. This is when He comes back on his white horse, this blood comes up to the horse's bridles, and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God.
